Michael Turley FSCSI FRICS
Michael Turley is Founder and Managing Director of MJ Turley. Michael established the business in 1976 having graduated in Construction Economics.
He later became a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors of which is now a Fellow. Michael has extensive knowledge and experience in all elements of quantity surveying, project management and construction consultancy services.
Having built a very successful business working in both the private and public sectors, Michael is known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to the profession.
Peter Turley
FSCSI FRICS
Peter is a Director with MJ Turley. He joined the business in 2007 having graduated top of his class receiving a gold medal in Construction Economics.
Peter is a member of the Royal College of Chartered Surveyors (RCSI). Peters’ expertise spans all elements of the business from cost planning to full project
management.
His professional approach to business coupled with his knowledge and expertise in all aspects of both public and private sector has earned him a very strong reputation in the industry. Driven and focused, Peter has a proven track record of successful delivery with many of MJ Turley’s new clients’ referrals from previous projects.
Rosemarie Jenkinson
Rosemarie is a Quantit Surveyor with MJ Turley since 2017. Prior to joining MJ Turley, she worked client-side in the construction sector including some time spent in Australia.
Rosemarie specializes in post-contract cost management of projects including areas such as
budget monitoring, progress reports, dispute resolution and advising clients on contractual
matters.
Rosemarie has worked primarily in the public sector with a focus on education facilities,
social housing and pyrite remediation works.
Alan Delaney
Alan is a Quantity Surveyor and graduated with First Class honours in Construction Management and Technology from AIT.
Prior to joining MJ Turley in 2021, Alan work as an Estimator and Electrical Quantity Surveyor in large construction and engineering companies.
Alans’ core expertise lie in estimating, namely electrical and civil, as well as cost management.
Alan has worked in both public and private sectors covering educational, residential, Data Centres and Pharma to name a few.
Angie Barrett
Angie is Office Manager at MJ Turley since 2018 She is responsible for the day to day running of the office from call/email management to document compilation and finalisation for presentation.
She manages diaries, offices costs and provides support to members of the team.
Prior to joining MJ Turley, Angie held Dept Managerial and Cost Control roles in both Chicago and Mexico City.
Robert Ogle
Robert is a senior Quantity Surveyor with MJ Turley since 1996. Prior to joining, Robert trained and moved from trainee to senior Quantity Surveyor in previous quantity surveying firms gaining extensive experience and expertise is all elements of quantity surveying.
Project Management and Cost Management are keys areas of expertise for Robert.
In cost management his experience in estimating, tender document preparation and pre and post contract cost control is noteworthy. Roberts’ primary sectorial focus in education.
Cathal Douglas
Cathal has been working with MJ Turley as a Senior Quantity Surveyor since 2020. Having
started his career in construction Cathal had a keen interest in the cost and project management side of the business. This led to study construction economics and quantity surveying.
Cathal has gained significant experience in all aspects of the quantity surveying field. He has
worked in all industry sectors including healthcare, hospitality, education, private builds,
commercial projects and agriculture to name a few.
Cathal is a valued member of the MJ Turley team always bring fresh new ideas and business
to the table.
Mark Hanton
A Senior Quantity Surveyor at MJ Turley since September 2020, Mark has the full range of
experience to bring to the quantity surveying table. Having worked both client and consultant side Mark has gained extensive experience working in all areas.
This experience has been gained both at home in Ireland and further afield in Australia where he spent some time working on projects in Perth and Darwin. Mark has completed projects in the private sector as well as large scale projects in education, leisure, hospitality, retail & pharma.
Mark’s role in projects varies depending on the ask. His experience allows him to take
whatever role is required from cost planning to full project management across all sectors.
